Well, not just peltasts, any loose-order troops generally. We tried the 8/4 fighting light infantry and even with buffs like Spears As Tribute they didn't fit the bill. We worked out a conversion by dropping the Stamina by one and the points cost by two then giving the units the Agile trait (but only in its front 180 degree arc).
