"3mm Medievals" Topic

I've been reasonably busy printing and painting the wonderful 3mm designs by Harley McPhee, Wozname on Thingiverse.

Have 8000 Scots making up these 4 schiltrons.

Just 600 bowmen but I doubt we ever fielded many up here :-)

I've also been printing and painting up the opposition.

Just 2 of 10 bases of English foot completed. Each base measures 200mm x 100mm and holds 1880 troops.

Lovely job! I think I'd have gone nuts painting 8000 pike en though, even if is just the helmets for most of them.

They do look impressive and quite realistic but I think you're mad for painting that lot 😊.

You have created the most realistic looking army i have seen.

Going nuts was a regular occurrence. I'd finish one block then spot helmets missed or gun metal smeared on pike shafts.

Must say I agree 100% regards me being mad, it's quite a task I've taken on 😬

Painting the schiltrons didn't take too long, maybe a week for the 4. The English foot otoh take ages.

Probably a week to do one.
