So, we're collecting SMALL gangs for TSR Boot Hill. In other words, Dungeons and Dragons with Bad Guys wearing dusters (Dixon mounted and some dismounted villains from Etsy any day now…), enraged townsfolk, Texas Rangers, Comanche, Apache, 7th Cavalry a cheap Hotel, saloon, church, cantina, pawn shops, dry goods stores…
BUT WE DON'T HAVE A BANK!!!
I'd like suggestions for a 28mm, 1/56 building easily identified as a bank.
I almost ordered a nice laser cut MDF model from Etsy from England's for $31.81 USD but $48.98 USD shipping. Back to Square One. I can do laser cut, cast resin, 3D print, but I don't have access for a 3D printer. So, suggestions for a nice impressive Bank made in USA or minimal shipping costs would be appreciated. The Long Riders is my inspiration. |

Take a look at Wargames Vault. You'd have to print out the bank and glue it to foam core, but you're looking at $2 USD-4 for a bank or $10 USD for a whole town. They've become my go-to for fantasy and H&M buildings. |

I have the resin OG one but if buying again I'd get Sarissa or another mdf company. Some mdf is more fiddly than others. |

When I did a game of the great Northville raid by the James and younger gang I made a bank interior as a side piece to the main battlefield. It was the interior of the bank with the vault and cashiers area and open space for the Robbers to come into and had a mini game in there. |

That's exactly what's needed.
The infamous "terrain vs figure scale" issue shows its head here.
You'll "need" to do the same thing with saloons and cantinas. In the case of the bank, you want to have the usual bank "furniture@, and that won't fit in the "footprint" of a 1/56 model. |

Quite right. A 28mm figure on a 25mm base effectively stands in the center of a force field six feet in diameter. Two people can't occupy the same 10' x 10' room. You need interiors more like 1" table=3' reality. |
