Because they will be available at MOAB, I was thinking of buying some Peter Pig Macedonians and Nubians to fill gaps in my 15mm Essex armies. But are Peter Pig Ancients 15mm compatible with Essex Miniatures? The reason I ask is because I found the Peter Pig AWI figures to be compatible with Essex. But the Peter Pig Colonials IMO were not because their heads are smaller than Essex 15mm colonials. So I'm keen to hear an opinion from anyone who has both Peter Pig and Essex Miniatures Ancients or Dark Ages 15mm figures. |

It varies per range with PP figures, and sometimes within a range. I also have a lot of AWI, and on the basis of the PP AWI size compatibility with my other AWI figures, I bought a pile of PP Ware of the Roses figures to bulk up my WotR/HYW armies. They were surprisingly varied in size; older ones too small, newer ones about Essex sized. My comments are here if you want more detail. I haven't bought any of the ancients or Dark Ages figures, so I can't comment on those specifically. - Ix |
