Since we are talking about two incidents, one being the attempted terrorist hijacking, in here and since today is the anniversary of the October 7th terrorist massacre, I thought this interesting and insightful of a lot of worldwide attitudes, including here. I've actually read some of these on the web. There are even those who believe 10/7 was an inside job. But then there are those here who believe 9/11 was as well. 😞 Subject: Conspiracy theories about flydubai attack spread across social media, reports find link |

All 7 in UK out on bail. 11 days later, we know almost nothing about them, other than 1 is a dual Iranian/UK citizen and the rest came from locations that have significant Muslim populations. We know everything about the terrorist who attempted to hijack the Israeli passenger jet and the wannabe Minnesota terrorist here in the states. We know this, also in the UK: Manchester Counter-Terror Charges (October 2, 2026): British police charged two Iranian nationals—Salam Ahmadyan (36) and Rahman Salehi (34)—with terrorism offenses regarding a suspected plot to target Jewish sites in the Manchester area.

We are always at war with these people, and they are fighting their way. They recruit around the world, they direct and support their agents, they are brutal and make us react with emotion. They make us pull back – as with the bombers – in their minds, a win for the mullahs, no different then the significant damage done to US bases in the ME, forcing us to re-deploy supply and support functions farther away. This is part of a big picture that goes beyond political blaming and campaign talk. I don't minimize the impact of lax immigration enforcement, but it is hardly the only cause. The jihad is going to find ways. We should not forget that thousands of attacks have been stopped over the years by federal law enforcement, something somewhere will still occur. |

I assume you mean radical fundamentalist Islam. Yes, radical fundamentalist. Islam has been at war against the world almost continuously since 600, in one place, or many. |

🤔 No, just one of them. The Central Sahel (Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger) – Coalitions like Jama'at Nusrat al-Islam wal Muslimeen (JNIM—an al-Qaeda affiliate) and the Islamic State in the Greater Sahara (ISGS) Nigeria and the Lake Chad Basin – Boko Haram somalia: Al-Shabaab Mozambique (Cabo Delgado Province): The local Islamist militant group Ansar al-Sunna Groups in Afghanistan, Pakistan Iraq and Syria where elements of ISUS still exist. Every terrorist or wannabe terrorists in every country, like the Somali in Minneapolis, Minnesota or the attempted hijacker of the Israeli passenger jet, the two Iranian UK citizens who were going to attack Jewish synagogues. They are "legion" |

Alleged Flydubai hijacker said 9/11 attacks spurred him to become a pilot, early investigation finds By Eyad Kourdi, Hira Humayun, CNN Updated: 2:29 PM EDT, Fri October 9, 2026 Source: CNN The alleged Flydubai hijacker had planned to crash the plane into Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv and was inspired by the 9/11 attacks, a preliminary investigation has found. Hamam al-Hammami, the suspect in the hijacking attempt and co-pilot on board last week's flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv, wanted to carry out a similar attack to September 11, 2001, which led him to pursue an aviation career, according to a statement from the United Arab Emirates' Attorney General Hamad Saif Al Shamsi shared by Emirati state media. "The idea of carrying out a similar operation using an aircraft became firmly established in his mind, which, according to his confessions, was connected to his decision to pursue a career in aviation," Friday's statement said. Nearly 3,000 people were killed in the 9/11 attacks 25 years ago, after four commercial planes were hijacked and crashed into three locations in the United States. The co-pilot wanted to carry out "a premeditated plot with a terrorist objective, aimed at taking control of the aircraft and using it to carry out a suicide attack targeting the passenger terminal at Ben Gurion Airport," with the aim of causing "the greatest possible number of casualties," the statement added. The early investigation also found that the September 30 flight was not al-Hammami's first to Tel Aviv. He previously took part in two flights to Ben Gurion Airport to become familiar with the route and airport in preparation for the attack, the preliminary findings revealed. …. Al-Hammami became inclined toward extremism and terrorism in 2017 while he was studying in Australia, the investigation found. He was influenced by extremist publications he read and online content he followed that glorified terrorist groups and suicide attacks.

Britain said on Monday that Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had "almost certainly" directed a suspected plot targeting RAF Fairford, as it vowed to crack down on Iranian criminal networks, sanctioned two Iranian nationals and summoned Iran's ambassador. …. British authorities have for years accused Iran of involvement in plots and attempted assassinations in Britain using criminal networks and proxies, allegations Tehran has repeatedly denied. Britain said last year that it had identified 20 credible Iran-backed threats to kill or kidnap people based in the UK. In July, Britain used new state-threat powers to ban support for the IRGC and Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiya, or HAYI, a linked group that had claimed responsibility for seven attacks earlier this year targeting sites connected to Jewish and Israeli communities and Persian-language media.

Finally!! Spectrum News: LONDON — British police said Tuesday they have rearrested two men on suspicion of assisting Iran's intelligence service over the suspected plot at a U.S.-run air base in England last month. Counter Terrorism Policing said the men, a 24-year-old British national and a 25-year-old dual U.K.-Iranian national, were arrested under the National Security Act. The men were earlier arrested but had been bailed pending more investigation. Police are investigating a suspected terror plot on Sept. 27 against the U.S.-run base at RAF Fairford in western England, which has been used to bomb Iran during this year's war. Scores of residents were evacuated from their homes near the base as armed police officers and army bomb-disposal experts swarmed the rural area. Police later said they had found a quantity of an accelerant — gasoline — in three vans at the site, but no explosives. British authorities have linked Tehran to the incident, which led the U.S. to pull its bombers from RAF Fairford. Five other men who were also arrested earlier remain on bail. No one has yet been charged. Laurence Taylor, head of National Counter Terrorism Policing in the U.K., said detectives are looking at "many lines of enquiry involved in this hugely complex investigation." "This is very much a live investigation, and our evidence gathering continues, but at this time our position remains the same; we consider it highly likely that there is Iranian state involvement," he said in a statement. "Our investigators are continuing to examine what that level of involvement was and the ambition behind it," he added.
