Apparently some people don't like media with apparent uncanny relations to events.
So, this time I won't mention either, just the similarity in the media. Have fun.
I'll mention, the media seems to have a happy ending, whereas the event didn't.
They were only 4 years apart.
Also, I believe it's legit, as it's so similar. Likely the production used the event purposely. Apparently an actor gave the setting, so I guess they were looking for something disparate to add to that.

In the media:
A teacher lady is about to fall off a ravine.., but a chap saves her.
Three fuel logs, two smaller, one big bang, that makes the teacher fall, again, and again is saved.
Did I mention her having a keen interest in astronomy?
A huge fancy machine, but it's all about a little ice.
They got a band! With a rather relative album release time and cover. I actually suspect they may have been chosen because of it???

The whole issue is because a small projectile hit a bigger tank of fuel.
Aluminium is blasted out.
Apparently there is a certain brand of frisbee, but I'm still looking into it.
Of course it's the only one to have the bad guy fall into the muck.
There are lots of small projectiles hitting recepticles with circles featuring. Often the incident actually saves the day. Again, i feel production just made it a happy ending instead.
The machine was first used for testing, before being upgraded for main use.
I believe you see the bit with the vehicle flying at the start. Then it's destroyed at the end. With partof it/another machine going down in a lot of smoke.
There are sort of theses bit, replacing the horror, but perhaps being symbolic of religious stuff. The woman falling in love upon rescue, a friend saving a friend, a man flying rescuing her again like an angel.
Still looking into it, but the similarity is striking.
Even "far out. It was right in front of him." Conjures the feel and the situation. Yes, particularly if you consider television. It was, and it was. But also far out, because of the overwhelming event. Almost a slogan of the day?
