A Napoleonic extravaganza was hosted at the club this evening with the arch rivals – the French and Austrians – taking to the stage. Despite poor morale within the senior Austrian command cadre (caused by poor deployment decisions and even worse command and control dice), the initially laclustre Austro-Hungarians pulled themselves together to order their cuirassier brigade to sweep over the French Hussars on their left flank. On the French left flank, a brigade of allied Saxons formed squares to effeciently see off marauding French dragoons. In the centre, the Austrians eventually got the better of their counterparts to secure a convincing win.
