Not going into details, ABC News has just reported on a major site hack involving open AI agent. Yes, sent by the company itself, not a third party user (apparently). I urge Australians to go check it out. Is this what may come of allowing AI agents on TMP? How could they be stopped? Is our wargaming at risk of attack? Will WW3 be fought on line over miniature battlefields? Should anyone using AI for wargaming purposes boycott open Al? |

PS Apparently it may very well be an unprecedented attack. I'd ideally post the ABC YouTube address from the head honcho, but for obvious reasons. So, ignoring the victim (all of us??), from the alleged perpetrators end, it took them about 3 months to inform the victim, who hadn't realised it themselves. Sam oltman(?) has taken a call. So did openai not notice? Or did they hide it? And what was Alexis really up to? Has any of your favourite wargaming sites been affected? 3 months is a very long time in the computing world. |
