Is there any source, online or otherwise, that covers the uniforms of the Canadian Loyalist militias during the Mackenzie Papineau Rebellions?

The militiamen of 1837 mostly wore civilian clothing or spare garments with maybe some cast-off British uniforms – the officers might have a British style tunic but otherwise as John notes pretty hap hazard bunch – the colonial government subsequent to the Rebellion did buy a couple thousand uniforms from Britain |
