The unit which, during the War of the Spanish Succession, appears in the sources as (Napolitean) Tercio Fra' Tommaso Caracciolo, or the Colonna Tercio and later as the Tomaso Carcciolo Regiment, was commanded from 1702 to 1707 by Fra' (Frey) Tommaso Caracciolo, belonged to the Italian component of the Spanish Monarchy's army in Lombardy. It was quite complicated to investigate this Spanish unitm but thanks to this, I got tons of info about uniforms of almost all the coloured Spanish Tercios before 1707.
