I'm doing some 15mm WWII Armour and am trying to up my game. Can anyone recommend a mud product to slap onto the model to help weather the tires and treads? I've been checking my go to modelling shop website and we seem spoiled for choice. I want to take things a step further than just paint, and want a bit of gritty body to it to clog into the wheels a bit. I also want it to be easy in that I can just slap it on with a brush in a single step, so dry powdered pigments are out. Thanks |

I've been using Vallejo weathering powders. They can be brushed on dry for a fine dusty layer or applied over a the liquid fixative that comes with them. Put a drop of water on the palette and mix some in and you can start building up volume with them for tank treads, fenders, etc. |
