my latest patch which cost me one year and created painting fatigue, I was stupid enough to try too many in one go, and then it dragged on forever, sitting around for months just to wait for basing and glue the paper colours around the poles, the 44e demi Brigade is the third battalion of my first amalgamation demi brigade, white and blue uniforms intermixed, the other one, firing, could be also employed as skirmishers, Sho Boki did a lot of variations in dress and equipment, I had to create however bajonets, from staples and glue them on, there unfortunately he sculpts them without bayonets, but usuall French infantry had fixed bayonets all the time, then I did a converged grenadier battalion from some of my units, to have a grenadier battalion which was also quite typcial for the French Army, miniatures almost all are Sho Boki 18 mm

Very nice work, I need to paint some more of these. The ones I'm working on are pre-Amalgame.

Stunning painting and realisation as always.

You might be fatigued, but it doesn't show in these fine fellows.

Best wishes,

Chris

Sorry to hear about the painting fatigue, I suffer myself sometimes

I find your work inspirational – delighted to see new units. Maybe this will inspire me to do some more Napoleonics….

What did you use for the backpacks?

John
