Now I have not contributed one single figure to this tableau, so I have no ethical problem in promoting it. Just for once let me beat Tango to it! There seems huge doubt re what actually transpired over there, but the Prussians were a comin', so any defense (however you spell it) makes sense. Until you walk down by that depression around Smohain (modern, La Marache) you would have no idea just how impassible it is today, let alone 200 years ago. Extraordinary work … he used the same amount of figures I did in my wargames … of course these are much better painted and he made a superb Terrain and Scenic too.

Truly spectacular, what a diorama this is going to be when completed and on show. It is obviously a labour of love and the construction an end in itself. But I wonder if he has considered how and where to display it? The blog goes back to February 2014 and it seems some work was done before the first post. What an inspiration. |
