Who makes them in 28mm?
The 1839-42 war.
Plus Afghan Regulars of the appropriate date. I suppose I'll also need a doddering senile Elphinstone too. |

We still have some sets of "The Last Stand of the 44th" that Chris Ferree sculpted and the late Richard Houston sold years ago. These figures are individually modeled to match their counterparts in the famous painting and were rather "beefy" for their time and ostensible "25mm" size. If you (or anyone else) are curious, John, drop me a PM and I'll provide some photos and details. If nothing else, single figures (all wearing battered uniforms and such furs as they could scrounge) could be mixed in with other companies' castings to give an especially "lived in" look to units in the First Afghan War.
