"This was my first real Warhammer army and a frequent attendee of tournaments in the 90s. After re-basing, touching up damage, and fixing banners, I also painted about 30 more figures to complete units that teenage-me never got around to. I tried to match the old painting style. I recognize Repanse du Lyonesse! (sp?) I have that one and years ago painted her up as a Joan of Arc, before any good Joan of Arc figures were available (Bad Squiddo Games now has excellent foot and mounted characters). I gave Repanse Joan's standard and just ignored the rest of the figure's un-Joan heraldry. |
