This regiment had already been the subject of an earlier study of mine, and I passed my information on to Kronoskaf — unfortunately, some of it was incorrect. I have now gathered much more precise evidence and would like to pay proper tribute to this regiment, which took part in the Battle of Turin. I have also found its standard — a truly beautiful one — which I will reconstruct over the next few days and then send to Kronoskaf as well. The full story is available on my blog.
