I'm making a tentative start on my Sassanids- a project well overdue! They were meant be a historical match for my Late Romans and Early Byzantines (which can both be found on this forum).

I have to say, I really enjoyed painting up these Foundry sculpts. The quality of the sculpting is sublime and I think I'm right in saying they were first sculpted by the Perry's for a range that wasn't completed (no cavalry). There's just something very pleasurably satisfying to the touch with the brush on these models.
