At long last Italeri have re-released their models of the M8 and the M20 in 1/72, now both in the same box and you chose the appropriate upper works. Great to see them back but the old faults persist. The tyres are still too small, except for post war Italian police use of course. The flash suppressor remains on the 37mm, again fine for the postwar streets of Naples or Turin, but not in WWII. Also the driver's cab still lacks the rear indentation (see my RMSM crewed model below). A straight rear is fine for the M20 of course. But glad to see them and I have bought two boxes (plus one in the attic off E bay fora small fortune a few years ago)

I enjoyed building those models several years ago. Do they still have the optional parts for an alternative fast build version? |
