This large Red Dragon is on an 80mm x 80mm base for use with the "Fantasy Triumph! rules. I have been building quite a few Middle Earth armies in 15mm and thought this one "fit the vibe" as the kids say. I have included a photo with some of my 15mm Elves so you can judge the size.

It is a resin model and came in four pieces. Assembly was simple. It has a lot of detail, so I painted it black, dry brushed white, painted it red, then used a stain (Minwax Polyshades Satin Tudor) followed by Dullcote spray. Then picked out a few things like teeth and claws.

I had never painted a figure this large (almost all my stuff is 15mm) but it went quickly – dry brushing and the stain did almost all the work because of the excellent details. Perhaps an hour of work, plus drying time. Contrast paints or speed paints would make it even faster. I just used craft paints from Hobby Lobby.
I wondered at first about the position of the wings – held almost straight overhead – then realized it makes the model more "playable". No bumping other stands nearby, or making other stands hard to see.
The figure is from Khurasan Miniatures.
