Has anyone tried the heiho rule set? I would love to hear any opinions or reviews from those who have. I am currently using a lightly modified version of BP's Shotte and pike rules but this seems more specific. As a sub-query, are there any baggage handlers etc. available for 10mm armies. The internet turns up zilch for me. |

You might also look at Pendraken's Vietnam range – they have some native porters. I have the rules and like the ideas in them but the presentation is too flashy for my tastes and leaves some text barely readable. Some commented that the rules produce rather predictable battles and show signs of lack of playtesting. Sadly it will be a while before I get to paint mine – the first hard plastic figures I have bought – as there are a few other things in the queue ahead of them. Plan to try out the rules and then probably pinch his ideas and make modifications. |

Mark's Game Room on Youtube does a review of the rules and has a game play video. Thanks. John |
