Vietnam Ambush Audio (No Name Village, Chu Lai 1965) "This tape was recorded by cameraman John B. Peters' soundman. It's dated Sept. 10, 1965. The tape records an ambush they got caught in as they waded through a rice paddy (you can hear the audioman sloshing around). A few soldiers were wounded and you can hear them calling for a MEDIVAC." Note: the date is corrected in the comments to 1966. link |

Wow….. We just finished a campaign of "Nam '68". This audio puts those 12 missions into perspective…. Dave |
