" I finally got around to painting these Barzso figures of US Infantry in the Mexican American War. I had to scrape off the 1808 pattern knapsacks on the original figures. Sad but this pattern doesn't appear in any period images and new interpretations…"

Barzo retired in 2018 and LOD Enterprises bought the production rights in 2019, switching from plastic to resin. It is a shame that no one has produced anything resembling a complete MAW range in 54mm |

There was someone doing MAW 54's a few decades ago in resin. Can't disremember his company name :/ He did several different types, then disappeared. |

Nice looking figures! I've got to agree that it is unfortunate nobody seems to make 54 mm Mexican American War figures. Looking at the modern plastic figures, does anybody even make plastic MAW figures in 28 mm? One of the more fascinating aspects of the American army is that we have information on so many of the company grade officers, many of them are in fact household names, and it would be a great period for skirmish type wargames.
