"At the beginning of my "Berezina 1812" project, I stumbled upon an image of a comic book cover during an internet search. It was for a small series called BEREZINA. This comic trilogy, "Bérézina," was published by Dupuis between 2016 and 2018. It is based on the novel "Il neigeait" by the French writer Patrick Rambaud and was illustrated by Frédéric Richaud and Iván Gil. The three volumes recount Napoleon's dramatic retreat from Russia in 1812, translating Rambaud's historical novel into a graphic narrative…"

Reminds me of the old Classic comic series that were based on famous and well known novels. Be great if an English language version became available. |
