Terrific. Dompaire has almost a legendary status across the Channel and is almost seen as the "Finest Hour" for 2eme DB, even if the Liberation of Paris is far better documented inevitably. Nice touch leaving the 50 calibre off any French M8 armoured car. I saw a half track with the insignia of 2eme DB and we will ignore the consular flag of 1st and 5th DBs on some of the rest. The result is more attractive and colourful in the end, even if eventually suppressed for obvious reasons. Great posting and has quite some novelty. |
