A quick update this week about Edme-Rose François Surdun, a soldier who began in the navy, transferred to light cavalry, then to light infantry, and ultimately finished his career in the general staff. This is one of the first posts where I focused on a few events that happened during the Peninsular War. Hopefully, I will be able to post a third time near the end of the month. link Michael |
