Totally agree. The minutiae of a British Guards uniform are oft overlooked.

White lace edge to the cuffs (as here). More white lace and brass belt buckles, obviously hidden here, as to the rear. Officer's gold lace at the edging only, everything else, no other lace collar or cuffs, in very dark blue.

These are all grenadiers, to judge by the "shako" plumes, pure white. If true, they need shoulder wings, blue with white lace (again a Guards' distinctive)

That officer at the end has two fringed epaulettes. He is seriously senior and needs better than that white lace on his cap and his lapels.

Great posting and worth it to promote minor details of the Guards look…..above all the two ensigns' colours the "wrong way around"….'cept they ain't, but you are a very sad person to know that. I need to get out more and stop listening to very old recordings of that San Francisco Band
