I'm finding it helpful to have RPG guides to various cities shelved near my novels to provide maps, explanations of law and justice, transport, record-keeping and all the stuff writers actually living in the period could assume their readers knew. So far--mostly courtesy of Call of Cthulhu--I'm good for LA, San Francisco, New Orleans, New York, London and Berlin. I'm thinking I need to add Chicago, Paris and possibly Moscow to the list. Can anyone suggest other cities or specific titles which would help an Internet search?
