A Table-top Teaser for the War of Austrian Succession

Taking a break from WW2 after our last Chain of Command campaign, John and I opted for an old-school game, and what could be old-school than a fight with Spencer Smith figures using Brigadier Peter Young's Charge rules[1].

Not wanting a simple line 'em up and slog it out game I've put together a quick table-top teaser – whether it's well-balanced or not only time will tell.

They're Spencer Smith Miniatures metal figures, well actually modified versions that were cast by SSM for me. The range is now owned by Wee Wolf Miniatures in the States, and I've been told should go back into production some time this year so I can fill a few gaps in my armies.

79thPA – thanks for that, it's what I was aiming for. The troops and buildings are all a direct homage to 'The War Game'. I had Charles Grant's book out on semi-permanent loan from the library when I was a lad.
