Are you in the habit of using paperweights when gaming, to pin down any paperwork you might have? |

Rules & army lists? Not really needed in my gaming space. At Show games there may be a draft but loose papers are in a clip board. |

Seldom. If used, to hold down a rule book page. |

Also no. I have a chipboard to hold QRS. Anything else goes on the side or dice table. |

No. It would mean I was using too much paper in the game. |

We have always used clipboards. Good for your army printout as well as carrying your forces to the table. |

No. In fact, I am pushing to remove all paperwork, cards, notes, etc., off of my gaming tabletop. It is detracting from the visual enjoyment of the game. I typically play 2e BattleSystem, using a business card sized record sheet for each unit. I worked out a marker system using colored plastic beads affixed to each stand, noted on the business card sheets (each figure within a Unit has the same colored beads indicating Unit cohesiveness, which makes it possible to keep the cards off the tabletop. The colored plastic beads are small, noticeable, but not intrusively. It makes the appearance of the tabletop far superior, with minimal distractions that remind us it is only a game. Cheers! |
