Today we carried on our historical refights of the First Punic War at our club, with the battle of Bagradas. Would the Spartan mercenary general Xanthippus do it again? Find out at this blog link

Good report. I see with two a side, you assign different commands. Are the two players on a side allowed to communicate? Is it actually a team effort, with joint decisions or genuine independent commanders? I often have a number of my pals over & this is a crucial, organisational decision. I'm keen to hear your views. |

Are the two players on a side allowed to communicate? Yes, but we don't try to run the other player's forces unless they are doing something truly badly. We play in a friendly way with even opposing commanders offering advice where needed. Basically, we do deploy and play our own forces. The mat is a neoprene one I got from an add on Facebook! |
