Contemporaneously, The Kanawha Division, under Brigadier Jacob. D. Cox, having crossed the Antietam creek upstream from the bridge, is assaulting the Joseph Sherrick Farm. The depleted units of Confederates are attempting to delay this spirited advance. url=https://postimg.cc/rKmm8nHg]
