I think Victrix minis look amazing, but I don't like that they come in so many pieces to make up one mini. Separate arms, heads, swords, sometimes separate body tops and bottoms, feathers to be added to helmets etc. In some cases, for the Greek hoplites I've been working on, one mini could require assembling up to ten separate pieces. At the moment, I cut each piece off of the sprue and remove the mould line for each separately. Does anyone assemble it first and then remove the line? I'm wanting to change up my process to speed things up and am just curious if anyone else does it this way. If it is bad idea, I don't want to waste a mini to find out.

For me, I remove obvious flash when I remove the pieces from the sprue, construct the figures, then clean up anything I see.
