1/35 scale from Tamiya, but they'll work fine with 28mm stuff.

I prefer 1/48 scale with 25/28mm.

One thing with barrels is they come pretty much inone size, so scale could matter if you care.

The barrels and cans look great!

Assuming the drums and cans are willed with oil or water, which is what we would do, yeah, they would be very difficult for the figures to move. In a science fiction world, they might well be filled with something lighter, though.
