"I wanted to do a quick post to accompany part two of my discussion on the Napoleonic Wars Podcast on the life of Marshal Ney. If you've not come across them, the episodes are only a very light look into the lives of the marshals (anything else would require hours and hours of discussion) and Ney's life was probably one of the most eventful of all. However, I unfortunately wasn't able to do justice to the second half of Ney's life at all. Just as we were coming to the end of the discussion on Russia, my little one woke up with a nightmare and wouldn't settle so I had to rush to finish the recording with my train of thought completely out the window. And Ney deserved a bit better…"
