You have sharp eyes! Strictly speaking at 1/25 there should be 41 figures but I wanted the command to be there too. Not sure why the large numbers. The Schwarzenburg uhlan unit had 917 effectives according to Gill. I have ignored the Insurrection hussars as they cleared off at the original action. Best wishes, Chris |

Afaik, although the regimental cavalry organisation was a 1000 men or more, they fought in divisional organisation or 2 squadrons or around 400 men. |

Mr Gill states eight squadrons for Aspern for this unit. Tactically their deployment would depend on the commanders discretion. Chris |
