First today is D-Day 🫡 Thought it was great that he flew to Normandy and greeted them as he got off the plane.
Also he, Catherine Votra and Mrs Macron for France were there for the ceremonies. Many military people as well attended. Yes, Secretary of War. I posted the article first, because it was June 6th. Second because it was AT Normandy. Third because it showed the still living veterans. I thought it was a great gesture after getting off the plane to greet and speak with every veteran of DDay, personally and with your family as well. |

What I saw of his speech was that he used the occasion to lecture European nations of the need to defend their borders from "another invasion" --  How refreshing. A perfect message for Europeans on the anniversary of D-Day. |
