Pretty short term solution. The profiles, dimensions at different distances, etc., will just get programmed into the AI at some point, then you're right back where you started. |

Better to go with MC.Escher/optical illusion schemes to throw off perspective/focus. And also a less garish color palette… ;-) |

This paint scheme is not used directly on the battlefield. There, it would make little sense—there are no longer any large military vehicles on the front lines, and most drones are controlled by human operators. This camouflage is designed to protect equipment in the immediate rear (up to 25-30 km), where AI-controlled kamikaze drones—a kind of flying homing mine controlled by AI—are currently rampant. They make attack decisions without human intervention. |

I think naval dazzle went back to WWI. That wasn't a 'blend in' as much as confuse id, speed, bearing. Not sure if this could help with armour… Doug |
