This week two 1/3000th scale German light cruisers join my growing Kriegsmarine squadrons. A few photos and a potted history can be found here: link

Nice looking ships! Traditionally, naval wargaming has centered on battleships and battlecruisers. I've been wondering about games concentrating on destroyers and light cruisers. Grelber |

Thank you both for your feedback. With respect to destroyers and light cruisers we have played a few games using these, along with the odd heavy cruiser. I have actually found them to be very enjoyable actions. They have featured heavility in one of our campaigns, with only one game of the campaign using battleships. If you are interested you can find links to the campaign battles here: link For the Königsbergs I plan their first outing to be a light cruiser and destroyer action but I have a little more painting to complete first. |
