Used to play the heck out of that game, even though we didn't quite fully understand the vehicle design rules… madly scrambling to calculate your APC before the game… lets see, power to weight ratio… oh no, fails the ground pressure calculation, take off some armor! |

Bought that one when it first came out. Played the crap out of it. I still used it to design vehicles and weapons years after the last game. Still look over the charts sometimes after all these years. One of my better game purchases I guess. |

Loved "Traveller" back in the old days. Still have most of the original paperback books from the 1980's. For those who are interested, you can get the updated books at The Compleat Strategist in NYC. Never played "Striker", but I remember the system. Thanks for sharing. Now go find a copy of "Twilight: 2000". |
