This date /day combination is significant this year as D day commemoration falls on a Saturday. Many of us who are working only have Saturday and Sunday off. Are you going to mark the day with a WW2 game? Along with friends we are doing 3 games at the local hobby store. Entoyment Poole Dorset. We will be there 9 to 5 pm and welcome gamers who would like to join in. The three games each run multiple times. All in 15mm using PBI rules. Game 1. Wittman in Normandy Game 2. Pegasus bridge Game 3. Assault on a German gun battery in the dark. Best wishes to all who are doing commemorative D day actions this Saturday. martin |

Great idea. I'll have to settle for flying my Stars and Stripes and Union Jack on the 6th. The Canadians, French and Poles should be added if there were more flag staffs at the house. Then there is the overlap with my favorite WW II battle, Midway. There is a US navy flag to fly with my S and S. We must not forget! |

I will be hosting a Rapid Fire Reloaded game with our regular group on the 6th. Also in honor of my late father who, despite family legend, appears to have landed on Utah beach, not Omaha, in one of the first waves on the 6th. |
