Indeed.I think the British infantrymen are my favourites. you don't often see them in their sleeveless, leather jerkins. |

Great work – the Brits in the sleeveless jerkins were great but my favourite would be the 72nd Regiment of Foot – those trews seem very impractical but look great |

Great basing, especially the Afghans. |

Agreed on the basing – how are you making those irregular shapes>? What's the core material underneath? |

Agreed on the basing – how are you making those irregular shapes>? What's the core material underneath? Thanks. It's just 2mm MDF with the edges chamfered with a craft knife. You can see the process in more details in this blog post about how I based my Mahdists link |

Your blog is a great read. Can I ask how you made the Afghan buildings; was it the cork tile packs from Bunnings? |

Your blog is a great read. Can I ask how you made the Afghan buildings; was it the cork tile packs from Bunnings? Thanks. Yes, they come in packs of a dozen I recall and are about 13mm thick. I bought mine about 8 years ago, so not sure if they still stock them. |

Cheers, I have a few packs lying around. They still sell them. |
