Off on a tangent, however, I do not recall seeing a paper where the first paragraph following a heading is not indented. According to the internet (so it must be true), this is proper form. Am I just waking up after 65 years?

Only skimmed through it, but it seems very well researched and written, so I have saved this for an evening read.

Thanks

Read it and recommend it.

Red Jacket's observation. I am on the Editorial Board of a surgical journal in the UK and have been for over 30 years. I had never noticed it, but every article avoids indentation for the opening paragraph. That is why we have copywriters, proof readers and publishers, they know better than us.

Happy you enjoyed it my good friend…
