Also the easiest to use.

Super glue with metal filings.

I get the metal filings from using my dermal to sand down figure bases.

After filling in the bond is incredibly strong and can be filed down to smooth.

I use Testor's gap filler for cavalry riders that don't fit snugly on the horse.

Green putty if gap very noticeable. If not too bad I hope that paint covers it.
