Nice indeed!
The only thing I would change would be to paint the horse's eyes and nostrils black and add a few white blazes to the horses foreheads.

Need two more units to complette all 12 Reg.If i am ready i will show all :-)

And thanks for the hint,but i never paint eyes.Not for figs or animals.For me its waist of time because you dont see the eyes in reality.Maybe its not nice from me but most more than 99% of the painters who try this make a ugly job.Most to big,in German we say "Froschauge"

I have found that a fine black marker pen is most useful for fine work and a dot for the eyes on especially bays etc does breath life into the animal.

I use a sparse umber wash to bring the soldiers eyes into action.

It is a specialist task to get eyes right without turning your figures into cartoons as you say.

I know its possible to paint eyes well but again not for me.
I try to paint the figs hist.correct and in the end good looking :-)
