Ebisu Life Store is a rapidly expanding Japanese lifestyle retail chain that focuses on bringing authentic Japanese "daily life" products to global audiences. While it began in Osaka, Japan, it has recently gained viral popularity in the United States for its immersive, colorful, and high-energy shopping experience.

One of these stores just opened here, and since we were next door anyway, my wife and I had a look-see. Of interest to miniature wargamers are a limited selection of mecha toys and a display table for large-scale 40K figures.

Next time I'm in LA, I'll try to make time to check it out. Or I'll just wait until one opens in San Francisco. Until then, I'll have to content myself with Daiso.
