I keep hearing news stories about micro plastic in our bodies. I have enjoyed plastic soldiers since Marx ACW figs and Airfix ACW, AWI, and Napoleonic. Now I am enjoying utilizing the Travel Battle and Warlord Epic TYW figs to portray large battles on my table. I have been filing plastics since the Airfix and especially on the TB and Warlord's Epic TYW. Am I hurting myself? The community?
I once was concerned about the filing of metals and discussed it with my doctor. He was not concerned about any negative effects it might cause me.
Anyone else thinking about this?

Unless you're licking your figures religiously it'll be minimal. Microplastics are in the air, water, and soil. Plastic water bottles are particularly bad offenders for microplastics in the body.

It is EVERYWHERE! Plastic cutting mats in your kitchen are a bad source.

Bottom line, to quote the Space Marine from the movie, Aliens:

They're freakin' everywhere, Man!

Relax. Everything is working to kill you -- you can't live forever. Cheers!
