Inspired by the current Poll Suggestion on Harryhausen movies. Before the poll even runs in a few months, Jason and the Argonauts looks like a clear winner.
Let's game it.

Let's start with the Skeletal Warriors. I just Googled 28mm skeletal warriors, and this was my first hit.

I'm sure there are shield decals available out there. Link? In my misspent yoot, I hand painted the Gorgon's head. But I'm older and wiser now.

My first thought was a 25mm trireme from Old Glory Shipyards. Other suggestions welcome. Other suggestions welcomed.

For the Argonauts, I'm open to suggestions. Archaic hoplites? Peasants in loincloth?

Wasn't there a series on wargaming the Argonautica in Slingshot a few years ago?

Saw a Wargame display of Jason and the Argonauts at the Legionary show in Exeter UK yesterday. V.impressive.

Should you begin with battling the Hydra? Not necessarily one-on-one as the beast's many heads make it a unit.

The less said about Medea the better…

I think it has been a frequently addressed and gamed topic over the years. The individual encounters along the way makes for a perfect skirmish level campaign
