Greetings. If you have any experience in playing BP with 15mm minis van you please pass on some advice for basing.

In particular:

What size bases for Infantry & Cavalry do you use?

How many miniatures per base?

And how many bases per unit?

Cheers!

I don't do BP in 15mm – but when we do it in 6mm we use ¾" deep, 1" wide for infantry, 9 figs per stand; for cavalry 1 X 1 inch, 6 figs – typically 6 bases per battalion/regiment; makes a nice look of massed bayonets!

Plus allows you to use them for Age of Eagles if you have the inclination – we also use them for Valor and Fortitude, which I highly recommend

The above dimensions will work for DBN also.

Many thanks!

What I've done is use a cm front close to 28mm inch frontage (9" for 24 figures) so I use 8 wide (8cm) x 2 deep. Then play using the inch measurements as cm. Your 4x6 table now plays like 10x15.
