Lead Adventurers has been unavailable for a few days now – "migrating to a new server". Does such a process usually take so long? DBDD |

Hopefully their search engine will start working again. I have given up on TMP's ever working. |

I'm actually in double withdrawal right now. The BattleTech forum is also either crashed again, or in the process of finally migrating servers as announced after the recent and lengthy crash. If the current situation is indeed another crash I suspect they will then be heading right into the migration |

I emailed nick to check and yes, LAF is "migrating to a new server". no mention of how long the process would take. Hopefully soon! I do miss it already! MY BLOG: Just Add Water Miniature Painting and Wargaming Blog: justaddwater-bedford.blogspot.com |

From the last Northsar Figures newsletter I got last week: Do you know The Lead Adventure Forum? It's a long running and successful wargames forum. It is owned by North Star, we are not the founders, just the current custodians. We've made a big announcement concerning its continuing future today, pop over and have a read. By the time I'd faffed around, LAF was down for the server migration. I have no other info than that. |

The announcement was upcoming server migration. WI wanted to step aside from the hosting, and another magazine has stepped in to provide the service. |

Does anyone know if this is the migration that was supposed to have happened last fall, September as I recall. I got the feeling that 'postponed' and this might be the second attempt. Doug |

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ That wasn't mentioned in the 'big announcement'. |

Does such a process usually take so long? Sorry for the belated reply, yes, but… My old employer would have it done over a weekend, except the 'process' would have been relatively invisible with the new system running parallel in test mode. A relatively small, miniatures manufacturer? I would council continued patience. Doug |

Just tried logging into it but the wheel spins and spins, and did not load. |
