I volunteered to paint 100 Prussians for the Waterloo in 20mm project. Took me forever to get them done, but here they are prior to being sent off together with 30 French regulars.

Looks like my workbench: big bottle of Liquetex gesso and craft paints! Excellent job on the Prussians.

Revell…and HaT?

They look very good, Bob. Worth the effort.

Thanks, William!
Sharp eyes, Ochoin! You spotted the one Revell figure in the batch. The figures are mostly HaT with some Strelets in the mix.

A worthy addition to the Captains project.

Good work indeed.

Best wishes,

Chris

They look great. I know the Boss is delighted and, let us face it, folk do not volunteer to do the Prussians or Netherlands gents. Their Infantry are less spectacular and so alike compared with the famous elite units (so much so that there was the "Friendly fire" story.)

I will admit to more respect for HaT figures after painting the Artillery Train drivers. I initially rejected them, but needed some variety from Zvezda. I now see that they have less detail, but what they have is in far better relief. Facial features and crossbelts are infinitely easier to paint.

Thank you, Chris. Hope my minis look as good as yours someday. I know my photography skills will never match yours!
Thanks, Deadhead. I was happy there was still time to paint some Prussians without having to do a lot of conversion work to get them into the proper kit.
And I didn't know that about the HaT artillery teams. I had to check PSR to refresh my memory that HaT even made them. Must get back to my Napoleonics soon…

They are really excellent and will be a welcome addition to the model!
